Bill Phillips, CCM

General Manager

In 2022 Bill Phillips joined Applebrook Golf Club in the role of General Manager previously serving as Clubhouse Manager from 2007-2013. Bill served as General Manager at St. Davids Golf Club from 2013 to 2022.  He earned his bachelor’s degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management (HR&IM) at The Pennsylvania State University.  Bill served honorably in the United States Marine Corps for 8 years and achieved the rank of Sergeant during his time of service.  Striving to blend his military and educational backgrounds, Bill leads to create exceptional experiences for Applebrook Golf Club members and their guests.

Bill is also involved in the Club Managers Association of America (CMAA) where he served on the Board of Directors for the Philadelphia and Vicinity Chapter (PVCMA).  He earned his professional designation of Certified Club Manager (CCM) in 2009 and continues to educate himself to stay in the forefront of trends in the Private Club Industry.
